1924 Started business as Mita Yonezo Shoten.
1945 The factory was destroyed by fire during the war.
1950 Commended as a fine factory by Tokyo Health and Medical Bureau.
1952 Registered as a business corporation.
1962 Started to produce additive-free natural juice as a healthy food.
1970 Changed the company name from Mita Yonezo Shoten to Mita Beverage Co., Ltd.
1973 Introduced a pure packaging system from the U.S.A. Developed Japan’s first concentrate juice and syrup in paper packages for business use.
1976 Built and moved to Hino Plant for further business expansion.
1981 Introduced the aluminum standing pouch production system.
1982 Introduced the stick packaging system.
1983 Intorduced the refort system.Started to produce cooked foods.
1987 Introduced the aseptic packaging system.
1988 Built and moved to a new plant to Hachioji-shi.
1990 Built Hachioji Second Plant.
1993 Expaned the pure pack system.
1994 Expanded the aseptic filling rooms and ABUHT sterilization lines.
1995 Expanded equipment for coffee, tea and woolong tea.
1996 Started producing the world’s first 100% italian blood-orange juice that can be kept at room temperature.
1997 Started to market “Kanchu-bai”, the industry’s first hot cocktail base.
1998 Registered Mita’s new “SunField” brand as a trademark.
1999 Built production equipment for PET & bottles.The company’s 75th anniversary.
2000 Moved to the new head office building for business expansion.Hachioji Factory Office moved as well.
2003 Expanded filling equipment for paer packages.
2004 Relaunched “Sunfield” brand making the company’s 80th anniversary.
2006 Established an affiliated company in Hong Kong.
2006 Acquired the certification of ISO9001.(Head office・Hachioji Factory)
2007 April Established a branch office in New York.
2008 June Acquired the certification of ISO9001.(Narahara Logistics Center)
